Connecting resources, expertise and purpose to transform education
Together with communities, families, teachers, public institutions and partner organisations, Save the Children Bolivia has developed educational approaches that support children and adolescents at different stages of their lives: from early childhood development and learning to inclusive education, reading, continuity of education in emergencies, and helping adolescents and young people plan their futures.
The challenge now is to take these approaches further.
From a New Business Development (NBD) perspective, we see a clear opportunity to build on existing models and lessons learned to develop proposals with greater scale, sustainability and potential to mobilise new resources. Initiatives such as Vroom demonstrate the potential of strengthening learning from the earliest years by actively involving families and communities. At the same time, new proposals under development aim to connect education, inclusion, local contexts and opportunities.
The next step requires partnerships. We want to engage with Save the Children members, donors, foundations, businesses and other stakeholders interested in investing in educational solutions that can grow, adapt to new locations and contribute to lasting change in Bolivia.
Our aim goes beyond funding new projects. We seek to build partnerships that can turn proven approaches into solutions with a wider reach, generate evidence and strengthen their links with public systems.
Call to action: If your organisation, Save the Children member or network identifies opportunities for funding, innovation or partnerships that could help expand these educational approaches in Bolivia, we would like to hear from you. Together, we can shape the next stage.
